Day 1 Saturday
Pick up at the airport ( Pisa, Rome,or Florence) and transfer in minibus to Villa Bruchi. Dinner at the Restaurant Il Ghiottone (The Glutton) in Santa Fiora and visit of the town.
Day 2- Sunday
Breakfast at the Bakery Corsini in Santa Fiora. Travel in minibus to spend the day with Pietro and Federica where you spend a memorable day immerged in unspoiled nature with a typical maremman family. Pietro , a shepherd, will take you to pasture the sheep in his 300 acre farm, teach you how to care for them, how to milk them and he will teach you how to make ricotta e pecorino cheese. Federica is the queen of their home. Together with her, in a very informal cooking lesson, she will teach you how to make homemade pasta and other local dishes. The perfect conclusion to an unforgettable day will be lunch together with the family in their warm country home. Dinner option is available if preferred.
After lunch,( or before dinner) we will take you to visit the medieval Tower Giurisdavidica where you can enjoy an incredible view, and build, as tradition holds a small good luck pyramid. Visit of the chapel where

Day 3- Monday
Breakfast at the Bakery Corsini in Santa Fiora. Travel in minibus to the locality of the Macchie. Here you will meet wit an artesian wood maker who will show you various techniques and how the chestnut, typical of this area is used. A small memoir will be given.
Transfer to Arcidosso to visit the castle, and where you can enjoy some free time and lunch ( not included)
After lunch, we will visit another artesian typical of this area that creates ceramics. You will see how he makes and hand paints his creations and enjoy a “hands on” workshop where you can make your own creation.
Short trip to Monte Laterone with a tour of the town and its small churches like San Clemente e La Rocca.
Tour of the Park of the Peschiera in Santa Fiora and Parish where you will be able to admire the famous sculptures of Andrea della Robbia. Dinner at Ristorante Il Ghiottone. (included)
Day 4- Tuesday
Breakfast at the Bakery Corsini in Santa Fiora. Visit to the Cities of Tufo, Sovana and Pittigliano. Tufo, an intricate part of the Maremman history and its beauty.
Travel to Saturnia where you can enjoy a marvelous bath in the thermal warm waters and relax in the stupendous natural tubs of this spellbound place.
On the way back to Villa Bruchi we will stop to visit Roccalbegna and the cookie factory where they will show you how the different types of cookie famous in the region and how they are made.
Dinner at Venerio a Castel del Piano, e after dinner walk in the town.
Day 5- Wednesday
Breakfast in Arcidosso with a visit to the weekly local street market. Short trip to meet Signora Isella
to enjoy her company and expertise for a cooking lesson, where you can become true experts! Homemade pasta is one of her specialties, along with meat dishes and desserts. Lunch together in the warmth of her home.
Afternoon stop in the countryside near Arcidosso for a visit to the medieval San Galgano Abbey (famous for the sword in the rock) and Sant’Antimo.
Late afternoon visit in a local cantina with wine tasting and light dinner.
Day 6- Thursday
Breakfast and early departure for Talamone where Paolo will be waiting for you to begin an incredible
He will take you fishing and will teach you how to pull in the nets and to choose the fish. You will have breakfast and lunch on the boat. Paolo will show you the caves and the most beautiful places that the Argentario has to offer. You can swim in the clear and uncontaminated waters. Possibility of visiting the Maremman Park in a jeep or on horseback. You will see the hawks’ nests, and other local fauna typical of the Mediterranean.
Evening return to Villa Bruchi.
Day 7- Friday
Breakfast at the Bakery Corsini in Santa Fiora. Travel to Montalcino where you will visit a cantina where some of the most famous Tuscan wines are made. Wine tasting.
Travel to Pienza to visit the city famous worldwide for it cheese. Visit the local shops along with tasting.
Afternoon visit to the thermal baths in San Filippo and its waterfalls. Time permitted, you will also be able to stop and visit Radicofani. Scenic route to return to Villa Bruchi, taking the mountain road to the top for a
once in a lifetime view from the top, short stop for visit to the Cross and the Madonna of the Scouts.
Sweet ending to your memorable stay will be dinner at Ristorante la Tagliola- In a unique atmosphere, tasting of several wines and appetizers will be served. Dinner highlighting the local cuisine to follow.
